How much does a professional logo and brand identity cost?+
Professional brand identity engagement (logo design, colour palette, typography, brand guidelines): $3,500-$10,000 depending on scope. Comprehensive brand identity with full application design (proposal templates, presentation templates, social media templates, key marketing materials): $10,000-$25,000. Startup brand sprint engagements: $2,500-$4,000.
How long does a brand identity project take?+
Focused brand identity (logo, colour palette, typography, core guidelines): 4-6 weeks 1 week brand strategy, 2 weeks initial design direction and client selection, 1-2 weeks refinement, 1 week documentation and delivery. Comprehensive brand identity with full application design: 8-12 weeks.
Do you work on individual design projects or ongoing design retainers?+
Both. For ongoing needs, we offer monthly design retainers: set hours per month across any format social graphics, ad creative, presentation updates, email templates, event materials. Retainers ensure reliable design production capacity without per-project sourcing. For specific project requirements, we scope and produce individual projects.
What files do you deliver for logo and brand identity work?+
Standard deliverables: vector source files (AI/EPS master format in full colour, reversed/white, and single-colour variants), print-ready PDF versions, web-optimised PNG versions (transparent background, colour variants), SVG versions for web/icon use, and font files for purchased typefaces. All logo variants: primary horizontal, stacked, icon/mark, white reversed, and black/dark reversed.
Can you refresh an existing brand without a complete redesign?+
Yes brand refreshes are often preferable to complete rebrands for established businesses. A refresh evolves the existing visual identity updating typography, refining colour palette, modernising logo execution, improving guidelines without abandoning built equity. Decision between refresh and full rebrand depends on how well the existing brand communicates current positioning, existing equity, and strategic shift needed.
Do you handle print production and supplier management?+
We can manage print production coordination as part of broader engagements: briefing suppliers on specifications, reviewing/approving proofs, and managing pre-press between design and production. For clients who prefer independent management, we deliver print-ready artwork to their chosen suppliers' specifications.
Can you design for both print and digital from the same brief?+
Yes and designing for both media from the same strategic brief is always preferable to treating them separately. Brand identity decisions must work across both media: colour decisions with screen and print reproduction in mind, typography licensed for web and print use, and design system developed with format adaptations each medium requires built in from the start.
Do you create all design assets in-house or outsource to freelancers?+
All design work is produced by our in-house design team not outsourced. In-house production ensures consistent quality standards across deliverables, direct accountability, institutional knowledge of each client's brand identity enabling efficient subsequent production, and direct communication between designers and strategists/account managers. We do not act as a middleman between clients and freelance designers.
